What a miserable day - as a pick me up, some say tonic, the wonderfully named ‘Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin’ and some (post) summer fun.

It has been fantastic weather recently, today it pissed it down french old testament stylee - torrential plagues of chicken gizzards (in a red wine jus). Amusingly the major cloudburst occurred just as my good lady wife was almost exactly half way through walking the dogs. The smaller dog hates the rain more than anything else and apparently curled up in a small ball under a bush and refused to move, by the time they got back the two dogs, who were already skinnny (they are after all greyhounds), were drenched and looked like dog shaped skeletons coated in skin tight smelly wet flannellette shirts.
